【Profile】Professor Jan Dhaene holds a Master degree in Mathematics (University of Ghent) and in Actuarial Science (KU Leuven). He holds a Ph.D. in Actuarial Science from KU Leuven. His main current research interests are in modeling dependencies in insurance portfolios, incorporating stochastic financial aspects in actuarial models and risk management for financial institutions.
